Grace and peace to you!

Friends, firstly, this week we want to rejoice with you for the ministry of home groups. Many of you have been blessed with more intimate and purposeful fellowship in home groups. We are deeply convinced that the edifying fellowship in these groups is a great blessing and help in your personal spiritual growth, and as a result, the growth of the whole church. Please pray for all the leaders and helpers of these groups that God would abundantly bless them and give them spiritual and physical strength to lead God’s people to Christ.

Secondly, we want to remind and encourage you to participate in the work of evangelism. One of the most neglected opportunities of evangelism, and at the same time, one of the simplest and easiest, is giving attention and talking to the guests and visitors of our Sunday services. Every Sunday God brings to our church many guests and among them, there are people who need Christian love and attention. They need to not only hear but also see the Gospel in action. We urge you to reconsider how you use your time before and after services and include in your plans to care for the guests at our church. Some of them just need a little attention and a short conversation, but some will require you to invite them over to your home in order to explain the Way of the Lord. They have already overcome many obstacles to come to church and are more than ready for you to share with them your personal salvation testimony and the Gospel.

Also, another important announcement. On October 25th at 6 PM, we will be having a member’s meeting. We will hear reports from different ministries, assess what’s been accomplished, and summarize the last few months of our church life. Please plan to be at this meeting.

Below are the services and meetings for this weekend:

  • Tonight (6:30 PM) - Children’s Sunday School (open to all but required for parents), followed by Bible Study for the whole church at 7:30 PM
  • This Saturday we have a cleaning day of the church building and the parking lot (begins at 9:00 AM). We encourage everyone to join, especially families. Even if you can only come for a couple hours.
  • Sunday Services:
    1. Worship Service in Russian at 9:00 AM
    2. Worship Service in English at 11:00 AM

As previously, due to the restrictions and orders from the health department, we remind you:

  • Keep social distancing and wearing masks in public places
  • Wash and sanitize hands more often
  • If you have flu-like symptoms or are in the “high-risk” group, then we ask you to stay home (we will do everything possible so that you could join us through the livestream, and if not, then the service will be recorded and posted on our church website)
