Church Staff Prayer Retreat

Dmitriy Zherebnenkov

Dear church, just a couple weeks ago we experienced many blessings from our prayer week where we had the opportunity to pray every single day together. We want to keep up this same attitude throughout the whole year so we’ll periodically plan and think about prayer.

One such opportunity is the biannual prayer retreat for all volunteers and staff in the church, starting at 9:00 AM this Saturday. If you’re willing, come by at 8:30 AM for some coffee and a light breakfast. This event is mandatory for all those involved in ministry and open for all interested. At this event we will discuss the various ministries of the church and answer any questions. But above all, we will have the opportunity to pray for all the ministries. At the end, we will look at the proposed budget for 2024, and will discuss and pray for the financial side of the life of the church.

Over many years these meetings have been an encouragement for everyone in ministry. Church members have been able to better understand the various ministries of the church and their needs. We sincerely invite you all to join us this Saturday.

If you have questions about the ministries in the church, please submit your questions ahead of time in the following link. This will help us give more prepared answers.

The Scripture memory text

The heavens declare the glory of God;
    the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Day after day they pour forth speech;
    night after night they reveal knowledge.
They have no speech, they use no words;
    no sound is heard from them.
Yet their voice goes out into all the earth,
    their words to the ends of the world.
In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.
It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,
    like a champion rejoicing to run his course.
It rises at one end of the heavens
    and makes its circuit to the other;
    nothing is deprived of its warmth.

The law of the Lord is perfect,
    refreshing the soul.
The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy,
    making wise the simple.
The precepts of the Lord are right,
    giving joy to the heart.
The commands of the Lord are radiant,

Psalm 19:1-8
