Shalom dear church!

May God’s peace fill your hearts and your houses!

There’s a prayer need: many people, including our church members, have gotten sick, so the services during the weekdays are being moved to Zoom.

Please, pray that God would give grace and spiritual and physical strength to all the sick people. We understand that God controls absolutely everything, even viruses are under His authority! Those who are sick, learn how to thank God for the joys of life and for the sorrowful and painful things too, because surely He is unchanging in His love towards us!

The prayer week continues and today we are finishing the prayer marathon. Our meeting will be on Zoom at 7:00 PM. We will be studying the book of Proverbs. You can join at this link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86459925034?pwd=eGo4MlBtd1g3cTVxNHF6WlBpYzlPQT09

If you haven’t yet joined us for the reading of the Bible together, here is the link for January’s Bible-reading plan: https://www.bible.com/reading-plans/819-lets-read-the-bible-together-part-one/together/47983219/invitation?token=AGuZb3dMkQBIWDHrZxiv9Q

Starting on January 16th, 23rd, and 30th, we will have an unusual sermon series called “You are destined.” This series will touch three spheres of a Christian’s life which are under great attack by this world: accepting yourself (sexuality), our accepting of the world around us (evangelism), and our accepting of other believers (friendship).

Pay attention to the services’ schedule and other special events happening in January:

  • – January 22, Saturday (9:00 AM) – A gathering of all people in ministry in the church
  • – January 23, Sunday (6:00 PM) – Church family service (vision for the upcoming year, report, and voting on the budget for 2022)
  • – January 27-30 – Winter camp “Fathers and Sons”

The Scripture memory text this week is – Luke 16:13

“No servant can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.”

Below are the services and meetings for this weekend (and next week):

Thursday (7:00 PM) – prayer service (via Zoom)

Sunday services:

  • – Worship Service in Russian at 9:00 AM
  • – Worship Service in English at 11:15 AM

Sunday (10:30AM)- Fundamentals of Faith (FOF) Class – introductory meeting in room 205, for those who wish to be baptized and for those who would like to be more deeply rooted in the foundations of biblical truths.

As previously, due to the restrictions and orders from the health department, we remind you:

  • – Keep social distancing and wearing masks in public places
  • – Wash and sanitize hands more often
  • – If you have flu-like symptoms, were in contact with a person with COVID, or are in the “high-risk” group, then we ask you to stay home
